Contents of research
  • Efficiency Improvement of LED light extraction: Maximization of device power efficiency by minimizing the rate of photon which trapped inside the device or internally absorbed photon which generated in internal LED.
  • Improvement on light absorption efficiency of organic solar cells: Thinness of light absorber layer in organic solar cell is very short due to a short diffusion distance of exciton in organic semiconductor. In such case, light absorption efficiency of organic solar cell is limited, but by using Nano-optics technology, the efficiency can be maximized.
  • Development of stamping process for tandem organic solar cell: For High efficiency organic solar cells, production of tandem solar cell - more than two solar cells should be stacked in Vertical Way – is required.
    In this case, however, the process to build up the light absorption layer which located in upper part can cause some problems such as it may melt lower part of light absorption layer or degrade the performance. In order to overcome this issue, production of the tandem device using stamping process is required. By this way, high efficiency solar cell can be developed
  • Production of Flexible device: Production of flexible LED and solar cell through grapheme electrode and formation of solution process based metallic oxide layer
