We are conducting research on robotic systems that perform tasks in extreme environments such as radiation environments where human activity is extremely limited, and that require extreme performance.
Research Goal
- Development of robots that are teleoperated to perform various works in a hazard environment or robots that helps medical treatment or rehabilitation.
Research Fields
- Remote-controlled robotic systems operating in a high-energy radiation environment
- Automation of radiotherapy apparatus
- High-performance production systems
- Actuator systems with extreme performance
- Assistive technology
Research Results
- Automatic breast board for breast cancer radiotherapy
- Exoskeletal master device for dual arm robot teaching
- Automatic C-arm repositioning system for reducing radiation exposure
- Stair-climbing wheelchair
- Power-assisted wheelchair with gravity and friction compensation
- High-performance smart motors
- Ultrahigh speed and high precision xy-stage
