Legal Grounds for Establishment

  • Gyeonggi Province Ordinance on the Establishment and Operation of AICT (Enacted on Nov. 13, 2017)
  • Article 32 of the Civil Act; and the Rules for Establishment and Supervision of Non-profit Corporations under the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy

Brief History

  • March 21, 2007 Cooperative agreement is signed between the Gyeonggi Provincial Government and Seoul National University.
  • May 21, 2007 Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy grants permission to establish corporation.
  • March 21, 2008 AICT opens.
  • April 17, 2018 AICT is changed to a corporation jointly funded by the Gyeonggi Provincial Government and Seoul National University (Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy)
